PUNK is a cultural protestor movement which born in 1976/1977 in U.S.A and then, in U.K


It is a revolt against the established values, which privileges the rough and spontaneous expression. PUNK is also a musical and cultural revival, the emergence of a new energy, synonymous with a maximum freedom of creation.

Incidentally the punk remainder also as creator of a vestimentary fashion resulting from the street.

This word would come from PUNK, English word meaning "sans valeur", it is accepted with irony by the punks since they reject the "established values". The "punk movement" is often associated the anarchistic movement.

EMOCORE, abbreviation of "emotional hardcore", also named EMO, is current musical rock'n'roll.

This kind of alternative rock derived from punk appears in 1984 in Washington in the United States.
It is the product of the attempt to combine the culture hardcore (straight edge) with softer music, more carried towards "neo-romantic" feelings, anti-machist.

PUNK clothes are not conventional, because Punks hate rules. They prefer to be original and generally, they have a "trash style"

It's a style of recovery and recycling :

- spikes
- nails
- torn pants
- rangers
- moulding trousers...

For the head and jeawels:
- piercings
- tatoos
- peak
- thin straps
- spacers...

Emos are a kind a "fashion punk".
Each EMO has its own style.

But most part of them have :
- black hair with a wick falling down on the face
- pretty shoes (vans or converses)
- lips piercing(s)
- moulding Jean or black trousers
- bands tees
- tattoos

Emos often wear black clothes, with touch of pink, red ...

First of all, it should be known that it is impossible to generalize the attitude of a person (obviously) because each one is different and has different manners to think!


However, there are many similarities in their way of being:
1) They are impulsive, not worrying about the consequences of their acts.
2) They do not worry about the others as a general, except for people who count for them
3) They are what they are and don't pay attention to the opinions of the others
4) They can't support superficiality
5) They hate the rules
6) They remain natural, original and themselves, that it have constraints there or not
7) They love to have fun and make the idiots without worrying about the image which they return
9) They can't stand standards of the society
10) They don't like to have a routine life, arranged well


So, in short, Punks remain yourself
